Gamers can try to get some of the new weapons

It seems that content associated with the coming House of Wolves expansion for Destiny is already active in some modes for the social shooter, with a number of gamers saying that they have managed to get access to it by entering the Salvage playlist in the Crucible.

This is just one thread on the forums where reports about the new loot are being gathered, and there are also other fans who have managed to get new weapons and are investing more time in the experience in order to try and get a head start when compared to the rest of the community.

All the House of Wolves content will be live worldwide on Tuesday, May 19, on all platforms on which the social shooter is offered.

Bungie says that no more disruptions of the game experience should take place, as it has already deployed the required 1.2.0.1 update for Destiny earlier today and has managed to introduce all the changes needed to get the new activities running.

All gamers who spot a problem with the new content added by House of Wolves should report it on the official forums, and presumably, patches will be quickly delivered if the bugs encountered are serious enough.

The expansion is designed to expand the scope of the end game

House of Wolves will introduce a new mode called Prison of Elders, which allows players to enter a new arena and try to stay alive while battling powerful AI-controlled enemies for as long as possible, with rewards offered for the best performers.

Trials of Osiris is also being introduced to the shooter and will offer a Player versus Player mode in which teams will seek to stay victorious for as long as possible in order to get weapons and items.

House of Wolves will not include a new major raid, equivalent in scope with Crota's End, but it will add strikes.

Rumors are saying that Bungie is already working on a third big expansion for Destiny, which is set to be introduced later in the year.

Apparently, a new major area is being prepared, and the company is also aiming to introduce at least another major feature in the new content drop, apparently called The Taken King.
