David Beckham, arguably one of the most handsome men on the face of the planet (if one is to believe the countless polls conducted on the subject), has a rather squeaky voice that has often made of him the subject of ridicule.

Speaking with Marie Claire, the November 2010 issue, his wife, Victoria Beckham comes to his defense, saying he’s simply too gorgeous for her to be able to focus on anything else.

The star graces the cover of the magazine in fabulous Eres lingerie – and also talks about what it’s like to be living under the same roof as Becks himself.

And, according to her, being David’s wife is precisely what his millions of female fans imagine it is.

“I don’t really notice that he’s got a high-pitched voice. I just think he’s so goddamn perfect that people have to find something wrong with him,” Victoria says, coming to David’s defense.

To prove just how perfect he is, the star goes on to detail one particular instance that made her lose her head – literally.

“We were about to go out somewhere the other day, and he was sending an email. He was sitting at the end of the bed, and he had no clothes on whatsoever. I was getting out of the shower, and I just stood there looking at him,” Victoria says.

“He was all tan. Has all those tattoos, which I love. Hadn’t done his hair. He just naturally looks good all the time. He never looks like [expletive] in the morning. Never,” the star further explains.

In front of such a sight, the last thing on her mind was David’s high-pitched voice. Understandably so, if one may add.

“So he’s sitting there sending his e-mails, all ripped. Not an ounce of fat on him. And I thought, you done good, girl. I sure wasn’t thinking of his high-pitched voice,” Victoria explains.

This is not the first time that Victoria sings her husband’s praises: in September last year, she appeared on The View to talk about her latest fashion line.

The mother of three said then with a wide smile that she still felt beautiful because “I go to bed with David Beckham every night, I’m trying.”
