Daniel Radcliffe is nearing 21 but no one should let his relatively young age fool them into believing he’s similar to hoards of other stars of his age. Not only is he one of the highest grossing actors of the moment, but he’s also working hard at honing his craft, showing the utmost dedication. For his part in an upcoming play, Daniel is looking to get a body like Ronaldo’s, Digital Spy writes.

Granted, no one can say that Daniel is not fit – at least, not judging on photos of him taken to promote his 2007 play “Equus.” However, for the upcoming “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” he will have to remove his shirt again and, given that he is convinced his character should be more buff and with much more definition than he has, he’s decided to start working out more. His goal: to become as toned as football star Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has reportedly decided that he wants a body like footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s. The 20-year-old has begun a new workout regime after signing up to play a window cleaner in Broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, according to The Sun. It is thought that the new role will require Radcliffe to appear shirtless on stage, inspiring him to get a toned torso before the project begins next year,” Digital Spy writes citing reports now circulating in the British media.

“Daniel wants to completely re-sculpt his body and has taken Ronaldo as his inspiration. He envies his muscle definition and is hoping to get a similar six-pack for himself. Daniel is taking his fitness regime really seriously. He’s stopped drinking, knocked the fags on the head and is watching every mouthful. He put on a little timber last year and is keen to get down to a more svelte shape. He’s already lost nearly a stone in the past month,” an unnamed but admittedly reliable source confirms for the same e-zine.

Should he continue with whatever workout and diet plan he’s on right now to get in shape, he will expose himself to few health dangers. Just the other day, we were telling you that nutritionists are adamant the kind of yo-yo dieting celebrities do for certain movie parts are very dangerous and not at all recommendable.
