14 DAY TRIAL // As speculated, the lineup for the 11th season of the popular ABC televised dance competition Dancing With the Stars is truly spectacular, including Briston Palin, David Hasselhoff and Brandy, among others.
Every year, before a new season of the show kicks off, speculation is rife as to the stars who may or may not appear on it both, because of the exposure they get and for the amounts they’re reportedly paid to get their dancing shoes on.
When deciding to do the show, another thing may tip the scales, namely the whisper that those who end up on DWTS are washed-out stars looking to boost their careers with one last attempt.
Of course, whether that’s entirely accurate is not up for us to say. So far, the 11th season of the show promises to bring lots of entertainment, competing and, of course, dancing.
The official celebrity lineup includes as follows: Bristol Palin, Audrina Patridge, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, David Hasselhoff, Michael Bolton, Kurt Warner, Kyle Massey, Rick Fox, Brandy, Jennifer Gray, Margaret Cho and Florence Henderson.
As E! Online puts it, most these stars have a strong personality and are as outspoken as they’re fun, which should make watching them truly fun. Some drama is also bound to ensue, as is the case with every season.
“Margaret Cho: The job of coming up with the most charming self-deprecating comments in order to last at least a few weeks on the show goes to her,” E! says of the comedienne.
“David Hasselhoff: Damn straight this is going to be harder than sitting through your Comedy Central roast! Have you HEARD the kind of stuff that comes out of Bruno Tonioli’s mouth?!” the e-zine further notes.
And, while The Hoff will probably not take any of Bruno’s criticism, Bristol Palin will help ABC get bigger ratings (not that it needed any) thanks to her mother, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, whom she hopes to see in the audience.
“Audrina Patridge: The Hills star will provide some eye candy, sure. But though we know she can talk the talk (and talk, and talk...), can she walk the walk?” E! asks of the MTV reality star.
