14 DAY TRIAL // Don't get too excited, it's not the new camouflage-skinned DS Lite, but the Ultimate Kit Lite from Nyko, well known for releasing truckloads of accessories for various gaming systems. They seem to like Nintendo's DS Lite in particular having released tons of accessories for it. The most recent are pictured left and as you can see, it contains everything for improving gaming experience on the go, even if you are driving your car through the jungle.
The Ultimate Kit Lite includes the following, as I found via Game-addicts.com:
- a carry case that comes in the same camouflage color as that of army apparel and is dubbed the Ultimate Kit Lite - a car cigarette lighter adapter charger, enabling you to play as long as you like without worrying that you'll never get to the last stage before your battery runs out - a belt clip which looks sturdy enough to hang the Ultimate Kit Lite onto your belt loop without any problem - a couple of army-themed styluses (as everyone's lost at least one since they own a DS Lite) - ample storage games for enough games to tide you over a long road trip (8 of them to be precise);
As you can see, the kit pretty much features everything that you need to keep your gaming experience the same as if you were in the city, or at home where there's a power plug. Why, oh why didn't they come up with a skin for the DS Lite itself, featuring that camouflage model?
Of course, you can get the kit just in case you need a neat case and a car charger, as DS Fanboy reckons, but I'm not so sure that the charger goes with anything else other than the DS. Not if you don't rip the plug apart and solder a new one, suitable for your other handheld devices. Then of course there's the voltage... Then of course if you own a car and a fancy electronic handheld you can afford a suitable charger for it.
