A wide range of other devices too

Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is already known for its buy-one-get-one-for-free promotion, and now it seems that those interested in the offer can enjoy far more devices that will come for free upon the purchase of another. Among them, we can count the high-end DROID by Motorola, the Android 2.0-based handset launched in November last year, as well as the DROID ERIS by HTC, which became available at Verizon the very same day as DROID.

While the DROID ERIS was already included in the carrier's BOGO promotion, the Motorola DROID is new to the offer. What users can get with the deal includes two DROID by Motorola units for the price of a single one, though the activation of a two-year contract agreement is required for each unit. Even so, this still means that one can get the appealing device for free, and that should appeal a lot to enthusiasts, one should agree.

“Check it out. DROID by Motorola is fast. Like scary fast. You can blaze across the Web with a massive processor and Verizon’s powerful 3G network. You don’t even need to type! With Google Search by Voice, you just tell it what you want and DROID searches the Web to find it. You can switch between up to six apps at once! Choose a few (or a few hundred) from Android Market and try it yourself. DROID won’t bother you while you’re running those apps. It keeps disruptive alerts at bay in a handy expandable notification panel,” the carrier says about the handset.

The same deal applies to DROID ERIS too, but the offering is not restricted only to the carrier's Android mobile phones. Other devices have been also included in the new promotion, such as the Samsung Alias 2, LG Chocolate TOUCH, Samsung Rogue, LG enV TOUCH, LG enV3 in Maroon, LG enV3 in Slate Blue, and Nokia 7705 Twist, or the webOS, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile handsets the carrier has in its lineup.
