DROID by Motorola, the hottest Android-based device available on Verizon Wireless' airwaves, is one of the best-selling mobile phones on the United States market at the moment, and Verizon seems set to make sure that its momentum will continue. After touting various applications that users can find in the Android Market, download and enjoy on their phones, now it moves a little further, showing users new ways in which they can enjoy the capabilities of the device.

“This March, Verizon Wireless customers with DROID by Motorola smartphones can add something new and different to their day-to-day routine. Whether customers are thawing out of winter in the Northeast, craving some fun in the sun, or looking for an Ethiopian restaurant in San Diego to stimulate their taste buds, Android Market provides access to thousands of applications allowing customers to stay in touch, up to date and entertained, all while running on the largest and most reliable wireless voice and 3G data network in the country,” the carrier notes.

Enhancing the user experience the Motorola DROID can offer is a simple process, the wireless carrier notes. All that users will have to do is head over to the Android Market, and they will find a series of solutions highlighted for them in the Verizon Channel. The company also notes that each solution will offer a new way to enjoy the device during March, and that there are five solutions put on display.

The Golf Solitaire card game is one of them, offering a new way in which users can enjoy the traditional playing of golf. The title is available for only $2.99, and offers users the possibility to play the game with unique card layouts for each hole, and more. OpenTable is a free GPS-enabled app through which one can easily find close OpenTable restaurants in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Mexico directly from the handset. And there's the AP Mobile solution, so that one can stay up to date with events and news around the world, available for free as well.

The Qik Video Camera is a software solution through which users can record and share videos with their friends or family via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. And there's also the Diner Dash 2 action puzzle game, available for only $4.99, in which users will test their capabilities of surviving the restaurant industry. There are different types of restaurants, and the happiest the customers are, the higher the score grows.
