Crysis 2 has just received a brand new trailer, showing there's no room for the weak in the game, as well as the minimum PC system requirements, showing that there's no room for slow computers if you want to play it as it was meant to be.

The original Crysis made a name for itself by being barely playable on all but the most high end computers of that generation, and is still used as a benchmark for new systems, proving just how far ahead of its time it really was.

Now, the studio behind it, Crytek, is getting ready to unleashe Crysis 2, the first game running on its new CryEngine 3 technology, which is billed as ready for the next generation of consoles.

As you can imagine, PC gamers have been eagerly awaiting anything remotely close to system specifications for the game, and the wait is finally over, as the studio revealed the minimum PC requirements for Crysis 2.

Check them out below.

* Internet connection required for activation * OS: XP/Vista/Windows 7 * CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2Ghz, AMD Athlon 64 x2 2Ghz or better * 2 GB RAM * HDD: 9 GB * DVD ROM: 8x * GPU: NVIDIA 8800 GT 512MB RAM, ATI 3850HD 512Mb RAM or better * Keyboard, mouse, or Microsoft Xbox 360 controller for Windows

At first glance, this isn't all that bad, but bear in mind that these are the minimum requirements, so if you barely achieve them, don't expect the best experience possible.

We have a feeling, though, that just like its predecessor, Crysis 2 will barely be able to reach maximum potential on just a few high-end PCs out there, so don't be upset if you won't be able to enjoy every technical achievement of the CryEngine 3.

PC players will be able to see just how Crysis 2 handles on their system soon, as Crytek announced last week that a multiplayer demo would be released later this month.

Until then, enjoy the newest trailer of Crysis 2, and perhaps save up to make any necessary upgrades to your computer in preparation for Crysis 2, which arrives on March 22, in North America, and March 25, in Europe, for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
