German GSMK has released two phones for the users that want or need more secure devices because of the fact that "THEY are listening to your phonecalls".

While no one bothered to mention who 'they' are, or why someone would care if 'they' really existed, the two CryptoPhones do in fact provide some extra security that can't be anything but welcomed by any type of user.

According to GSMK, the CryptoPhones are very easy to use and convenient providing all the security features a mobile user would ever need. They are based on the strongest encryption algorithms, AES 256 and Twofish and the very long keys ensure the security of the user's calls far into the future.

German carrier GSMK equips the HTC manufactured mobile phones with a special software on request that encrypts calls with 4096 bit Diffie-Hellman key exchange and the SHA 256 hash function AES 256. Basically, this means that the user's phone calls are secure at all times.

The GSMK Cryptophone G10i, by HTC, is a light and rather nice looking quad-band GSM clamshell that comes with full source code, secures your voice's privacy, supports unencrypted calls or SMS, comes with a calendar and several other mobile phone specific features.

GSMK also provides the CryptoPhone 220 PDA phone that generally has the same features as the G10i, sports a touch screen and works on any 900/1800/1900 GSM network that provides data call facilities. Both phones come equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera.

Because security never comes cheap, the G10i comes with a price of approximately 1600 Euro. The CryptoPhone 220 is even more expensive, coming with a price of approximately 400 Euros more than its clamshell brother.
