Offering customers more flexibility

Cricket Communications has recently announced a new way for customers to take advantage of the unlimited features that have become the company's trademark.

Aside from the monthly pay cycle, Cricket users will also be able to buy unlimited wireless services through the new Cricket by Week product. Already available, Cricket by Week includes unlimited anytime minutes, unlimited US long distance, free text and picture messaging, voicemail, caller ID, call waiting, three-way calling as well as nationwide roaming for 39 cents per minute.

"This new product will expand Cricket's unlimited offering and coupled with our recently introduced monthly rate plans, broadens the range of Cricket price points from $18 to $60," said Al Moschner, executive vice president of sales and marketing operations for Cricket. "It's part of our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with wireless products, services and payment options that fit their needs and their pocketbooks- all with the value of unlimited."

Cricket By Week is priced at $18 per week, fee which includes all excise taxes except sales tax, and is available through the operator's stores, dealers as well as online. It is intended to bring a financial bridge for customers and will allow them to easily switch between weekly and monthly plans.

The product also includes international long distance for a fee as low as five cents per minute to Canada and Mexico, excluding Mexican cell phones that are charged at a rate of 20 cents per minute. Cricket has always provided affordable wireless services for consumers and local businesses offering them a flat-rate unlimited service over the latest technology, CDMA2000 1X and 1xEV-DO network.
