14 DAY TRIAL // Word got out this weekend that Courtney Stodden had ended her 2+-year marriage with much older actor Doug Hutchison, having realized that “freedom” was what she lacked all these years. According to fresh reports, she’s already moved on from the relationship.
Stodden and Hutchison have been making headlines ever since they got hitched in Las Vegas and, indeed, the fact that her parents had to sign off on the marriage because she was only 16 had a lot to do with it.
She was nicknamed “Teen Bride” and almost instantly set out to capitalize on the media attention by doing whatever she could to be at her most outrageous. She hasn’t stopped yet, in case you were wondering.
Though the two always denied reports that the marriage had been arranged as a shameless PR stunt, they never quite managed to be very convincing about it. News of the divorce and the fact that Courtney has moved on so quickly will certainly not help in this sense.
Radar Online reports that she has already kicked a “heartbroken” and very sad Doug out of the house they shared until not long, with insiders saying that filing for divorce might be the next step. He is devastated that the marriage didn’t last because, admittedly, he actually thought it would, having fallen head over heels in love with his young wife.
She, on the other hand, is so eager to taste “freedom” that she’s already moved a new man in, according to another report in the blogosphere. He is one of the men with whom she partied while in London for Celebrity Big Brother UK and he is, unfortunately for Doug, much younger than him.
He was photographed with Courtney while escorting her out of a club – or carrying her, more like it, because she was so intoxicated she couldn’t even stand without assistance.
Word also has it that Courtney will soon start shooting for her own reality show, together with a BB castmate she became friends with and the mysterious young hookup guy. If that’s really the case, then dumping Doug makes sense.
