Photos confirm “teen bride” is definitely keeping her promise of a new album in 2012

Courtney Stodden is planning to capitalize on the media attention she's getting for being the “teen bride” and hopefully relaunch her music career. She's back in the studio, working on a new single.

Having attained international fame for marrying actor Doug Hutchison last year when she was just 16 and he was 51, Stodden has become a tabloid fixture, especially since she's believed to have paparazzi on her speed dial to make sure they capture her every move.

If that's true, it's probably not that surprising that they also accompanied her the other day, when she went back to the recording studio to work on a new single and, of course, pose for pictures.

The Daily Mail has the photos.

“Teen bride Courtney Stodden is making a fresh attempt to launch a career as a pop singer. The blonde, who describes herself as a 'recording artist' on her Twitter page, was spotted walking into the studio arm-in-arm with her much older husband Doug Hutchinson, 51,” the British tabloid says.

“Wearing a revealing dress and her favorite perspex platform heels, Courtney, 17, spent the afternoon working on her 'new single' with two Orange County-based music producers,” adds the Mail.

Also in the studio, Courtney posed for pictures and refused to offer more details about her upcoming single, saying only that there was already great interest in it – to her knowledge, at least.

“It's wonderful to be back in the studio again,” she gushed. “People have been contacting me all the time asking when my next song is coming out.”

As much as she likes to talk about herself, Stodden has been uncharacteristically reserved about her music career so far.

In December last year, for instance, she said that, even though married life kept her busy, she still had plans of a career in Hollywood, which included acting roles and making music.

She said an album was coming out in 2012 but she did not offer more specifics on it, as we also informed you at the time.

However, if you want to know what to expect from her, then you should probably know that she's done it before – and to the most ridiculous results ever, no less.

Below is Courtney Stodden's video for “Don't Put It on Me.” Some would say Rebecca Black's “Friday” is actually a masterpiece compared to this.
