Harmonix and MTV Games, the two companies in charge of the Rock Band franchise, have announced that the ever growing number of songs available for the games will be expanded even more with additions coming from Eric Church, Jamey Johnson and Lady Antebellum, giving this weeks downloadable content a country influence.

Dierks Bentley will be contributing “What Was I Thinkin”, his first single, to Rock Band while Eric Church will be contributing “Hell on the Heart”, a single that it taken from his second album, called “Carolina”, after his debut managed to get four single in the Billboard country chart.

Jamey Johnson is also arriving in Rock Band with his track “Women”, originally part of the 2008 album “That Lonesome Song”.

Keith Urban is one of the best known artists arriving as part of the country oriented DLC, managing to launch six albums that have all gone platinum in terms of sales. The singer will be offering his single “Days Go By” to Rock Band fans, a song that managed to top the country Billboard chart for four weeks.

Josh Turner won Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year from the Inspirational Country Music Awards and is contributing “Would You Go With Me” from a 2006 album “Your Man”.

Lady Antebellum managed to get a Grammy Award for its debut album and will be bringing “Lookin’ For a Good Time” to Rock Band while Laura Bell Bundy offers “Rebound” a single from “Achin’ and Shakin’”.

Reba McEntire also known as the Queen of Country Music is bringing “Fancy” to the music simulation game while Sugarland contributes “It Happens”.

The tracks are all master recording and will be offered on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii on August 31.

Players will be able to get them as “Going Country Pack 04” for 14.99 dollars or equivalent Microsoft Points, but also as individual tracks.
