14 DAY TRIAL // Corsair, a company known to many of you primarily thanks to its high-performance memory products, has just announced that it has expanded its lineup of computer accessories with three new headsets designed for hardcore gamers.
The two top-of-the-line models are known as the Vengeance 1500 and Vengeance 1300 and the main difference between them is the support for 7.1 and 5.1 Dolby Headphone positional audio support, which is only available in the first model.
Otherwise, these are nearly identical and both are quipped with specially tuned 50mm drivers as well as with circumaural, closed-back earpads.
For connecting the headsets to the computer users going for the 1500 will require an empty USB port, while the 1300 relies on the regular two-3.5mm jack configuration.
Moving to the third solution to be announced today by Corsair, this includes a much simpler feature set and employs 40mm drivers paired together with a noise-cancelling cardioid microphone.
The Vengeance 1100 headset is shipped with both USB and 3.5mm analog connectors for easy compatibility with any laptop or desktop PC.

The Vengeance 1500 USB has a recommended price of $99 USD, while the Vengeance 1300 analog gaming headset has an MSRP of $79.
The Vengeance 1100 retails for of $39. All three headsets will become available in October of this year.
