There are many sorts of audio solutions out there, and the headphone segment alone features its own degree of variety, the latest model from Jabra belonging to the wireless category.

One cannot say that the past month has been in any way lacking in the audio solutions department.

In fact, if anything, makers of sound products, like Razer and Creative, actually made a point of having it out, albeit mildly, on the high-end market.

Now, Jabra has entered the field, though it is not so much geared for high-end prowess as it is for mobility and easy of use.

Instead of making some new headset with many drivers and every bit of sound proofing and other elements one can think of, it went for the unassuming looks of hands-free wireless headsets.

With a weight of only 8 grams, the EASYGO, as it is called, features Bluetooth 2.1 support and a slim-line design, plus the ability to link to two devices at once.

Also, volume is adjusted automatically, even as high quality sound is ensured by means of the Digital Signal Processing technology.

Furthermore, as is usual for this type of audio solutions, affixing them to an ear is done via ear hooks, and Jabra helpfully provided them in two sizes, although Ultimate Comfort Eargels are included in the product bundle as well.

The battery can last for up to 6 hours of talk time, while standby time can extend to up to 8 days. A status display shows how much power is left, as well as the status of the connections.

All in all, this 53.7 x 15.8 x 9 mm newcomer should prove most useful to users that want to have their hands free while moving about their tasks.

Red, white and black color options are available, to meet different tastes, and the price will be of $75 during COMEX 2011 (1 to 4 September), after which the tag will stick around the $88 mark.
