14 DAY TRIAL // The cast of the highly anticipated “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” the second installment in the franchise, appeared over the weekend at the Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego to promote the film.
They also introduced the first official trailer for the film, which you can see in full above.
It follows the teaser released in April at the MTV Movie Awards 2013, but it’s far superior to it in all respects.
Not only does it reveal plenty of new footage (without once going into the actual Games), but it also hints at the mounting tension because of the events in the first film, and shows a couple of spectacular costumes Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) will wear at public appearances.
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” also stars Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Stanley Tucci, and Philip Seymour Hoffman, and will be out on November 22 this year.
