Soon enough, it’ll be raining Snow Whites. Lilly Collins and Kristen Stewart are starring in two different adaptations of the classic story, with the later heading to Comic-Con 2011 in San Diego, together with the rest of the cast, to promote it.

Stewart was already in town, having put in an appearance at Comic-Con just a couple of days earlier, on the discussion panel for “The Twilight Saga:Breaking Dawn Part 1.”

Just hours ago, she, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin, took to the stage again to talk about “Snow White and the Huntsman” and to show off the first character posters for the film.

Speaking about her character, Kristen underlined that this Snow White is far from the image of damsel in distress we’ve come to know from other productions, JustJared reports.

In fact, she may be just the contrary of that, as the first trailer also shows.

“She’s got this amazing ability to channel fear… She doesn’t let her mind get in the way of doing things she feels strongly about. Also, I get to have a sword and stuff,” the actress said.

During the same panel discussion, Stewart told audiences that, before starting to work on the film, she told her co-stars, including Oscar-winner Charlize, that she really wasn’t any good at stunts and that she “took [herself] very seriously,” reports E! Online.

Theron’s answer was simple: “I’m an Oscar winner so we take work really seriously here. You’ll be fine.” Theron plays the Evil Queen.

Producer Joe Roth described the film as a rougher, grittier and more serious version of the other Snow White film now in production, which also stars an Oscar winner – Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen.

“Our movie, I like to think, is on the scale of Lord of the Rings, in terms of size and scope and appetite – a tough, rough, active male-female picture,” Roth told the press.

“I can’t speak for the other movie, but from the images, it’s a softer version,” he added. Footage from either Snow White film is yet to be released.
