The Foreign Legion needs you again!

City Interactive is planning to bring us the sequel to its first game in the Code of Honor series - this time, we'll leave together with the Foreign Legion and head straight to Conspiracy Island, somewhere in Guiana, in order to annihilate a group of terrorists who threaten the world (as always). The first person shooter (FPS) game will be released this August for PC systems only and it has a recommended price of $19.99.

The story is simple and does not bring many revolutionary aspects: the Global Revolutionary Front rebels located somewhere in South America are heading to the Isle of Ile Royale to gain control over a nuclear reactor and they manage to do it. It is, of course, up to the player and to the Foreign Legion to battle and stop the terrorists, save Guiana and be praised by the people.

We will only get nine missions, though, but we truly hope that each is at least two hours long, since we'll have to travel through rugged terrain including a labyrinth of caves, a 19th century prison, research facilities and more to stop the enemy and obtain the nuclear reactor. Of course, there will be lots of enemies along the way and you'll have a host of weapons to annihilate them, which should make everything more fun.

We'll also get some improved graphics, since City Interactive has used for Code of Honor 2 an improved JupiterEX engine which, together with the better visuals, will offer us the chance to "blind fire" from behind walls, a new "bullet penetration" special effect, allowing the player to shoot enemies taking cover behind thin stuff, and weapon modification features. This sounds pretty nice.

All we have to do now is wait until August comes and, meanwhile, hope for the best.
