He’s one of the best looking men in Hollywood right and he’s also nabbed one of the most coveted film roles of the moment, that of Captain America. Chris Evans does have a problem, though, and it’s pretty serious: he’s losing his hair.

In a recent interview cited by PopEater, the actor admits that he’s probably going bald and, while that doesn’t upset him personally, he knows it could spell trouble for future Marvel movies.

“I have no problem saying this, but I’m losing my hair,” Evans is quoted as saying.

While he may not have a problem with this, Marvel probably will, especially if he goes bald. He’s already signed for 3 “Captain America” films, in addition to 3 “Avengers” movies in which he’s supposed to play the same part.

Obviously, if he’s supposed to play the same superhero for that much time, his best bet right now is to do something about his hair loss.

“The fear is this [role] can span 10 years so I can be doing this character until I’m 40. I’m supposed to be like this superior human. He can’t be balding... How horrible would it be if this superior man has male pattern baldness?” he says.

He can’t promise Marvel that he will not go bald, but he can promise that he’ll do his best to stay in top shape for the role, which requires him to be even beefier than he is in real life.

“That I can control,” he says of staying in shape. To do that, he works out every day.

“It’s a lot more than I’d like it to be, but you know, if I miss three or four days, I feel like [expletive],” he explains.

“Last year, I got into running and I was like, ‘I’m going to start running and then I would run on the treadmill and feel great.’ But I’ll get too thin. I lose weight so quickly,” he says.

Sadly, most of his female co-stars can’t complain of that, of losing weight too quickly.
