Cher Lloyd performs “Just Be Good to Me” on X Factor, gets judges to sing her praise

Following much criticism regarding the decision to have Cher Lloyd on X Factor after her rather disappointing performance during the judges’ house stage, the aspiring singer has managed to silence critics on her first live show.

Over the weekend, X Factor went live, while also offering the possibility to viewers at home to have a say in who goes and who stays by voting.

Before Cher took the stage, the mere mention of her name was received with boos, Unreality TV says, but that didn’t stop her from getting up there and doing her best to impress.

And, it would seem, that was more than enough since the judges could hardly stop from singing her praises after she was done with “Just Be Good to Me.”

“Any doubts anyone had on why Cheryl picked you have just been totally utterly blown away,” Simon Cowell gushed when Cher had finished singing.

Not only does the petite singer deserve to be on the competition, but she also has what it takes to actually win it: talent and that extra something judges are looking for, he added.

“You are a exactly what we were looking for, which is a new little star. And you should be unpredictable, that’s what pop music is all about. You are part of a new generation, I loved it,” Cowell said.

Before going on stage, Cher again defended herself, her image and her sound, saying she wasn’t looking to emulate anybody, but rather to express herself as freely as she could – through music, of course, says the same e-zine.

“I am me and I am here for one thing only and that is to win. No matter what people say I am a very strong person. I’m confident. All of this is making me twice as strong as I am now,” Cher said.

“I don’t have to explain myself – I fight for what I want and I will get it. Nothing can go wrong for me now,” she added.

Being on X Factor has made her a stronger person and she’s more mature than her 17 years would show.

“I am very young and I can’t believe all the things I have already been through. But now I am so much wiser. I so know what I am doing and I am doing it well. I am not a little girl any more. I am like a 30-yearold up in my brain,” Cher said.
