Bygones be bygones. After a few rocky weeks, during which actor Charlie Sheen couldn’t stop bad-mouthing CBS, Warner Bros. and “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre, he wants his old job back, as he reveals in a recent radio interview cited by PopEater.

He was famously fired from the show after he made fun of everybody on it that tried to make him see he had a drug problem and needed rehab.

After he was let go, Sheen took CBS and Warners to court, asking for $100 million on the grounds that he’d be left penniless by the producers, when, ironically enough, they fired him for being unprofessional.

If one is to believe Sheen, he’s currently in talks with the same producers, to see whether he can come back to the insanely successful show, the one that brought him roughly $2 million per episode.

“There’ve been discussions, but I was asked not to divulge anything,” Sheen said during a recent radio interview, adding that no one warned him he wasn’t supposed to act unprofessional and badmouth producers in the press.

“Had they told me at the end of Season 8 that that behavior wasn’t going to be cool, I would have adjusted it,” the actor added.

For those not in the know, Sheen now calls himself an “unemployed winner” who’s taken his tour, “My Violent Torpedo of Truth / Defeat Is Not an Option,” on the road, mostly with negative reviews from critics and the fans.

While Sheen is paving the way for talks with CBS in the eventuality of reprising his role, network bosses are reportedly too fed up to put up with his antics once more by taking him back.

“One report suggests CBS honcho Les Moonves has been putting pressure on Warner Bros. to take Charlie back. ‘Absolutely false,’ say our sources. Moonves has not even weighed in,” TMZ notes.

“Charlie has been almost pleading for his job back, even making the pitch during his show. And behind the scenes Charlie’s people have been making calls, but Warner Bros. has closed the book on Charlie,” the e-zine further reports.

Charlie Sheen on “Two and a Half Men” is a closed chapter and no one has a real interest of revisiting it. CBS has until May 18 to decide what happens to the show, TMZ also says.
