He wasn’t joking when he said the “trolls” had been warned and he’d take legal action against them. The “trolls,” in this case, are Warner Bros. and showrunner Chuck Lorre, whom Charlie Sheen has just sued: he’s asking for $100 million plus punitive damages.

Charlie Sheen has been fired from the hit CBS show “Two and a Half Men” after a series of erratic episodes, including interviews in which he badmouthed showrunner Chuck Lorre.

After learning that his contract had been terminated, Sheen said that he would take action against the network and Lorre unless they agreed to pay him and the cast for the remainder of the current season, even if those episodes would never be made.

Said and done: and Sheen really means business, as PopEater also points out.

In court documents filed the other day, the actor alleges the only reason he’s now without a job is because Lorre had interests in seeing “Two and a Half Men” end before its time.

“Chuck Lorre, one of the richest men in television who is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew of the popular television series, ‘Two and a Half Men,’ in order to serve his own ego and self-interest, and make the star of the Series the scapegoat for Lorre’s own conduct,” Sheen’s attorney writes.

Lorre is also working on several other series, which is also why he wanted out of “Two and a Half Men,” Charlie alleges – and he orchestrated this whole thing to make him (Charlie) look responsible.

On the other hand, Lorre says Sheen’s has mental issues that he should see to before shooting his mouth off in the press.

“The allegations in the complaint against Mr. Lorre are as recklessly false and unwarranted as Mr. Sheen’s rantings in the media. These accusations are simply imaginary,” Lorre’s legal representative fights back.

“This lawsuit is about a fantasy ‘lottery’ pay-day for Charlie Sheen. Chuck Lorre’s concern has been and continues to be about Mr. Sheen’s health,” the lawyer adds in the same statement.

Until this works out one way or another, Sheen continues his impressive tour de force in the media: he’s announced dates for his US tour and has also done a skit for Funny Or Die.

The latter is below. Enjoy.
