14 DAY TRIAL // In early January, Charlie Sheen pranked his fans and the rest of the world by saying he’d gotten married to his adult star girlfriend Brett Rossi during a trip to Iceland. He later admitted that he lied but, this time, he is really getting ready to walk down the aisle because he just proposed to Brett.
The scene of the proposal was Hawaii, where the actor flew his girlfriend on a private jet for some R&R on Valentine’s Day weekend. He popped the question with a giant diamond ring, with TMZ offering a first good look at it thanks to a set of photos snapped right after she said yes.
The same media outlet confirms that, this time, the engagement is “real,” but can’t offer more details on it. Sheen himself has confirmed the happy news to E! Online, but would not say if he’s already thought of the wedding and how he wants it to go down.
His fiancée, Brett, says she didn’t even expect Charlie to propose.
“Yes! We are engaged! He even was a gentleman and got down on one knee. I was not expecting it at all. We had a beautiful Valentine’s day and he proposed to me early this morning after we watched the sun rise,” she says.
“The ring is classic and beautiful, but I don’t have any photos to share just yet. This is the happiest moment of both our lives. He’s my best friend and my soulmate,” she continues.
Right before he popped the question to Brett, Charlie was hinting about it on Twitter, saying, “in a moment of Kray-zee gratitude; I got my gal!! 4evurr!”
Charlie and Brett were first seen together in November 2013, when they were photographed kissing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where he’d retired for some time in the sun.
Brett, whom Charlie calls Scottie, would be Charlie’s fourth wife. He has 5 children with his previous three.
