Nokia and I-play, a well-known mobile entertainment company, will collaborate in order to bring a series of casual games to Nokia's N-Gage platform. The first games delivered by I-play to Nokia, available from 2008, are Super Mah Jong (based on the ancient Mah Jong) and World Rally Championship, which has FIA WRC's official license.

Developing mobile games since 1998, I-play is a subsidiary of Oberon Media, the world's leading casual games provider. At the moment, I-play brings top-quality mobile entertainment to over one billion users through more than 120 mobile carriers all over the globe. I-play will deliver for the N-Gage platform casual, "one-thumb" games, including famous licenses like the above mentioned World Rally Championship. The N-Gage players will benefit from I-play's casual development philosophy and its fun and engaging playability.

"I-play brings a diverse games portfolio to N-Gage, and we're excited to have them on board", declared Gregg Sauter, Director, 3rd Party Publishing, Nokia. "The N-Gage toolset provides the opportunity to deliver new features and richer experiences to consumers through I-play's strong portfolio of content. We look forward to this cooperation."

David Gosen, Chief Executive Officer at I-play, said: "We're very excited to be cooperating with Nokia. The awareness that the launch later this fall alone will bring to the consumer and the mobile industry will help propel mobile gaming to the front and center of entertainment consumed on the mobile."

N-Gage is a special games service for mobile devices, compatible with Nokia Nseries handhelds and other S60 3rd edition phones. With N-Gage mobile users can easily search, find, evaluate, buy and play high-quality games. Also, palyers can connect to the N-Gage Arena, the mobile gaming community created by Nokia.
