Jennifer Aniston, although a good actress, has often been seen as typecast for romantic comedies and chick flicks. Her upcoming film, “The Baster,” though, might bring about a change in perspective as regards the former “Friends” star. A casting notice just posted is looking for extras to be insulted in front of the camera, it has just emerged, which means that chances that the film is different from any of Aniston’s previous works have just gone way up.

The notice was posted on Craiglist by Grant Wilfley Casting. As expected, it makes specific requests as to the applicant’s physical appearance, but no mention as to the part or the time the wannabe thespian would get in front of the camera.

It does say, however, that shooting will take place in Manhattan, at a yet-unspecified time, while speculation has it that the one doing the insulting is, most likely, Jennifer Aniston herself. This last part is yet to be confirmed, nonetheless. The full Craiglist posting is below.

“Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking the following for EXTRA work for the Feature Film, ‘The Baster’ starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman:

- A Heavy set women [sic] who is able to ride a bike and comfortable in provocative wardrobe who is comfortable having profanities shouted at her; - A woman with a round face, small eyes, and upturned nose who is comfortable having profanities shouted out at her in a comedic scene; - A rail thin teen boy with bad skin, bad acne.”

All those interested in the extra parts can apply for the job by sending in a current photo, along with details about their physical appearance. The posting implies that they would be contacted in a while and asked to come for an audition. “The Baster,” telling the story of a 40-something-year-old woman who turns to a turkey baster to get pregnant, has been set for a tentative release for 2010, so more details on it should emerge in the following months.

In the meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston would also like to focus on different movie parts, saying she would be more than thrilled if she got to play a Bond girl. “I get offered funny, quirky, pretty roles. I’d love to do an action movie. James Bond. Glamour. Daniel Craig. […] Loads of fun.” Aniston told Elle magazine a short while back.
