Says she would love to work with Daniel Craig

Being a Bond girl is certainly no walk in the park, in the sense that it can be extremely hard to nab one of the most coveted parts in the history of cinematography. At the same time, since this is a role that is usually given to gorgeous 20-something year olds, it is also the perfect launching pad for a successful career. But Jennifer Aniston has set her eyes on getting it and she’s not going to let age hold her back, as she tells the latest issue of Elle magazine.

The former “Friends” star, who just turned 40 the other week, says she could only think of the Bond girl part as the perfect thing for her career right now, while also allowing her to work with one of the hottest men in cinema right now, Daniel Craig. “I get offered funny, quirky, pretty roles. I’d love to do an action movie. James Bond. Glamour. Daniel Craig. […] Loads of fun.” Aniston explains for Elle magazine.

Since we’re on the topic of age, the actress says that, now that she’s reached the dreaded 4-0, she feels better than ever, more at peace with herself than she has ever been, which must undoubtedly also shine through in her many recent appearances. “I’m at ease – and not just with my age. Really, I’m at peace. I’ve never felt this good about myself before. I think that shines through. I am a realist. I know if I eat nothing but burgers, I’m not going to be hired for parts I normally would. I’d become a character actress. That might be fine one day, but not right now.” Jennifer further adds.

Of course, since no Jennifer Aniston interview is complete without a question regarding the split from Brad Pitt – or the other way around, for that matter – Elle too asked the actress how come she never once came out with her own side of the story. Far from being annoyed at the question, the once extremely shy Jennifer who never opened up about her personal life stated that divorce was often a no-win situation for both parties, and the same applied to her and Brad as well.

“I don’t owe anybody my side of the story. There are no sides! There is no bad guy and there is no good guy. There are no villains and there is no heroine in this story.” Aniston points out. Fans of the actress can see her in her latest film, in which she appears next to Owen Wilson, “Marley & Me,” and that opens today in the UK.
