raiX UG, a Germany-based game developer specialized in iPhone, iPad and iPod touch applications, has just announced the availability of its new iPhone game Fish Farm. Featuring more than 75 realistic 3D fish and sharks that try to simulate the real thing, Fish Farm lets users customize their tanks with over 50 decorations and backgrounds.

The game looks like a marvelous aquarium sim, in which players can buy, raise, breed and sell fish to earn coins and gain experience. As players level up, they will be able to unlock new items and maintain up to 12 separate salt and freshwater aquariums at the same time.

Fish Farm gives people the opportunity to care for exotic fish and construct their ideal freshwater or saltwater environments,” said raiX founder Raik Bittner. “Everything from the species of fish to the undersea home is yours to design and customize.”

The game also takes advantage of the Facebook integration feature, so players can publish their aquarium or watch those of their friends.Fish Farm is more like an interactive environment that allows players to level up by raising, breeding and selling their fish. Once higher levels are unlocked, you will be able to access more species of fish, more backgrounds and aquarium decorations. Earning lots of coins is one of the main conditions of having a beautiful and largely populated aquarium.

In case you don't have enough time to level-up, so you can access more fishes and unlock necessary items, the developer offers players the chance to purchase in-application cowry dollars, which are used just like coins to purchase in-game items and upgrades. With only one in-app purchase, users will have unlimited access to the Exchange and will be able to transfer virtual currency without restrictions.

Fish Farm is available now for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in the iTunes App Store for free download here.
