Since this title first appeared, gamers have been waiting for it to go mobile, and Capcom has now fulfilled their wish – but not after having filled the users’ hearts with hopes with the recent declaration that the game was in the works.

Midori Yuasa, Capcom's president, stated regarding the development of this game for mobiles that, "Capcom Mobile is honored to be bringing the next exciting chapter of the Resident Evil series to mobile phones everywhere. [...] Mobile is the only place where fans can play Resident Evil: Degeneration and experience this thrilling story from a unique adrenaline-fuelled perspective."

In any case, the main idea is that, once again, all willing gamers will be getting the opportunity of walking in the shoes of Leon Kennedy, the much appreciated character. The action will take place seven years after the Racoon City incident, and you will have to annihilate the zombie “uprising” in an airport, and thus save the day.

In order to accomplish this, you will be taking aim using a multitude of devastating weapons, while having to face the fierce zombie army that will be there to “greet” you. In addition, some other negative mini-characters will also represent some of the challenges you will be faced with, namely infected dogs and horrific tyrants. In order to succeed, you will be have to complete 50 terrorizing missions, which are sure to give you an adrenaline rush like never before.

Resident Evil: Degeneration is based on the CGI movie with the same name, and recreates the story from it pretty faithfully. There isn't much information regarding the release date or anything like that, but what it is known is that the game has been fully developed, and that it is almost ready to be unleashed on the market.
