Camille Grammer says ex Dimitri Charalambopoulos beat her to a pulp in hotel room, days after cancer surgery

Earlier this month, Camille Grammer announced that she’d undergone radical surgery after a diagnosis of early stage endometrial cancer. Days afterwards, while she was still in recovery, she was beat up by her ex-boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos in a hotel altercation that lasted about 40 minutes.

Camille says that she was in Houston, still in recovery after the cancer surgery: she went under the knife on October 11 and the beating occurred on the 16th of the same month.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, the reality star argues that the beating was so violent that she feared for her life, especially when Dimitri tried to suffocate her using his bare hands, all the while yelling at her that he would be giving her a “real reason” to call the cops.

She explains that the fight started while she, holed up in the hotel because she was in recovery, began texting and calling Dimitri, who was out. After a phone conversation that ended with her yelling at him, he came to the hotel room and unleashed all his fury on her.

He allegedly grabbed her by the hair and violently smashed her head against the headboard, ripping chunks of hair from her head. When she reached for the phone to try and call for help, he smashed it to pieces and continued to beat her furiously.

“[He] squeezed my nose between his fingers and pushed upward forcefully, covering my mouth in an attempt to silence me to prevent me from breathing,” Camille writes in the court documents, explaining how he tried to cut off her air supply.

She adds that the whole episode lasted for about 40 minutes, during which time she begged him to stop. Afterwards, he left the hotel and flew directly to Dallas, which could explain why he wasn’t arrested the next day.

Camille obtained a temporary restraining order against her ex and is now looking to have him prosecuted. Police are investigating the case, looking to find any kind of witness to the abusive episode described in court documents.
