Call of Duty: Black Ops has just been updated for the PC platform, through Valve's Steam service, right after the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 console versions got their first patch before the weekend.

The game already received its first patch a few weeks ago, right after Black Ops was launched, in order to fix the lag and glitches experienced by PC owners, in both the single-player and the multiplayer or co-operative modes.

Now, the new patch comes with a few more performance improvements, in regards to the CPU, as well as a few new fixes for glitches reported by players.

Here's what the new Call of Duty: Black Ops PC patch brings to the game

- CPU performance improvements - Server browser bug fixes and tweaks to populate faster and do full refresh less often - Fixed crash when viewing leaderboards if player has more than 99 friends - Fix for locked ADS after pressing shift-TAB to bring up Steam overlay - Fix for ADS while holding shift as a sniper - Zombie matchmaking improvements

Call of Duty: Black Ops has been released a few weeks ago by Activision, having been developed by Treyarch, and has already broken sales records around the world, overtaking the previous Call of Duty title, Modern Warfare 2.

The game, however, wasn't exactly up to par, and many players complained of glitches, lag and other problems on both the PC and the Playstation 3 platforms.

Sadly, even with the patch released last week for the consoles, things are still bad for players, as many commented on that story saying that the matchmaking is still broken, lag is still present in online matches, no matter the speed of the Internet connection, and people still can't play private matches with friends.

After installing the new patch, is the whole experience improved or is it still the same? Share your impressions below.
