Neutrano came at the CTIA Wireless 2009 trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada with its new watch phone, dubbed Wristfone, which is now confirmed to come to the United States market later this year. According to the company, the handset is expected to become available for purchase as soon as June 15, 2009.

As many of you might already know, the Wristfone comes in a watch form factor, and it actually looks like a watch, except for when you receive or want to make a call. The handset offers support for GSM networks, while also including a built-in 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity and a music player. Two variants of the watch phone are expected to come to the market this year, namely the stainless steel and leather versions.

The Neutrano Nutec WristFone will also include a touchscreen display that shows the watch or phone options, depending on what you are using it for. The icons on the screen will offer quick access to the SMS program, the dialer, or the music player.

Given the fact that the icons and buttons included with the watch phone are rather tiny, the company also packed the handset with a stylus, which proves rather handy. According to the news, the device will be able to offer connectivity with AT&T and T-Mobile networks, though it is now sold by any of the two carriers. The price of the WristFone is expected to be placed in the $300-$400 range.

In addition to this watch phone, it seems that the company also has a second model in the works, as Neutrano CEO Gary Rotman showed a prototype of that one too. It seems that the second model will allow users to detach it from the band and bring it to the ear. There are no details on when the device will be ready for the market.
