Killzone 3 is set to be one of the most important PlayStation 3 titles of the beginning of the year, but if you still didn't have a reason to buy it, its developer has just revealed that specific copies will include early access to SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs.

Killzone 3 is set to really please owners of PlayStation 3 consoles, not only because it will deliver a solid first-person shooter experience, but also because it has support for stereoscopic 3D as well as for the PlayStation Move motion detection system.

Now, in order to further boost the interest in Killzone 3, Guerrilla Games and Zipper Interactive have teamed up, and the new title will also include access to an early beta stage for SOCOM 4, another eagerly awaited PlayStation 3 exclusive shooter.

Chris Roper with Zipper Interactive offers details, “To get early access to the beta, look for the SOCOM 4 callout on the front of all eligible copies of Killzone 3 (including both the standalone and Helghast Editions)."

"Inside the box you’ll find a PSN code that you’ll be able to redeem for your early access as soon as the beta goes live. To find out when the SOCOM 4 multiplayer beta begins, be sure to check back at SOCOM.com once you pick up your copy of Killzone 3, hitting shelves on February 22nd."

We've already talked about the importance of Killzone 3 and why it matters to PlayStation 3 gamers.

The title is set to continue the story from the second game, which appeared back in 2009, and will aim at delivering a more fully-formed experience.

It will also serve as a special technical showcase, provided you have an expensive 3DTV set and a PlayStation Move motion detection system.

Killzone 3 is set to be launched on February 22, exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
