Dragon Age: Origins was recently announced as being delayed to November by BioWare, mostly to make sure that all the elements of the game were complete and the console versions optimized. But now the development studio has also announced a variety of details related to pre-orders, the Collector's Edition and offers rewarding those players who get the game first hand.

The first two packs of downloadable content for the role playing game will only be offered for free to those players who can prove that their copy is new. The first of them is called The Stone Prisoner and will introduce new quests and items but the real attraction will be the possibility of recruiting a powerful stone golem called Shale to your in-game party.

And there's also the Blood Dragon Armor, which will be usable not only in Dragon Age but can also be imported to take care of the physique of Commander Shepard in Mass Effect 2. BioWare is saying that the Dragon Blood Armor itself cannot be obtained if you buy the game used, while The Stone Prisoner DLC pack can be obtained by paying 15 dollars.

Those who pre-order the game can also look forward to getting the Memory Band, a piece of equipment, which allows players to get more experience than normal and also add up one skill point to any skill of the main character.

The Collector's Edition of Dragon Age: Origins is set to come packaged in a stall case and will be selling for 74.99 dollars. It contains a cloth map of the in game world, a DVD detailing how the game was put together, a CD with the game's soundtrack and other pre-launch content. Those who buy the Collector's Edition will also get access to three in-game items: Bergen's Honor, helmet, which increases stats, Final Reason, a magic staff; and a book that boosts stats.
