14 DAY TRIAL // A recent report claimed that Demi Moore's 3 daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis had walked away from her and were even considering getting a restraining order against her to be able to maintain the distance. Bruce doesn't approve, says the latest.
The latest print issue of Star magazine (story via CB) says that Rumer, Scout and Tallulah are set to continue ignoring their mother because they believe it's high time she dealt with her own drama without help.
Problems started when she relapsed, with the girls bailing out on her because they thought they'd done more than enough for her.
Bruce doesn't agree with them and is telling them that now, more than ever, they should be by their mother's side to offer her support and whatever help necessary.
“Bruce is very disappointed in them, and he’s been calling them spoiled and selfish. He doesn’t understand why they are turning on their mom when, for the most part, she’s been an incredibly supportive parent,” a source says for the celebrity publication.
“The girls supported Demi through the split from Ashton Kutcher and her stay in rehab, but now they feel she should get it together on her own. Bruce, however, feels differently,” Star writes.
They were always a very close-knit family, even after Bruce and Demi got divorced, and he can't see how his girls would think the time is right to stop being that.
“He thinks they are being way too hard on Demi. He still really loves her, but he has a new wife and baby to look after so it’s not as though he can do much for her,” the insider explains.
Since he's in no position to be taking care of his ex-wife because of his new family, Bruce has come up with a plan to bring the girls around, the same media outlet says: he will no longer be giving them their allowance.
“If he cuts them off, they will all be in serious trouble. None of them has money saved, and they all rely on Bruce and Demi to pay their bills. The sad thing is this means that Demi’s girls have to be paid to be nice to her,” the insider says.
After rumors broke of the restraining order, reports (and photos) emerged online that Demi had found love again, this time in the arms of actor Martin Henderson, who is 12 years her junior. Whether he's ready to deal with the drama remains to be seen.
