The other day, during a radio interview, Britney Spears half-heartedly admitted that she felt “pushed too far” when it came to including racy imagery in her music video. Today, her father and her manager are fighting back.

Britney was talking about her video for “Work,” which includes imagery she would probably not want her sons around for another few years (at least), when she said she would like to be able to tone down and just make videos that focused on dancing.

You know, old school.

Her father and conservator Jamie Spears and manager Larry Rudolph are now telling TMZ that the exact opposite of what she said applies.

“Britney is never pressured into anything. She reviews all creative and for her ‘Work’ video she discussed toning down some parts in finding a balance of [sensual] and being a mom,” they say in a statement.

As the aforementioned media outlet stresses, setting the record straight on this is very important because Britney is still under her father’s conservatorship, which means that she can’t make any kind of decision on her own, without his approval.

Which means that, if she feels pressured into doing anything and she says that on radio, only he (and possibly Rudolph) could make her feel this way. But if neither is, as they make it clear in the statement, then who is?
