14 DAY TRIAL // Britney Spears’ newest video, for her single “Work,” dropped yesterday and it’s already gotten people talking on whether she, a mother of 2 boys, would not be better off putting on a more… wholesome image in her music videos.
Britney, it seems, agrees, saying in a radio interview with The TJ Show on AMP 103.3 in Boston that “they” are pushing her too far when it comes to sensual imagery in her videos.
At least she’s honest about it.
“Sometimes I would like to bring it back to the old days when there was like one outfit through the whole video, and you’re dancing the whole video, and there’s like not that much [raunchy] stuff going on,” Britney says.
It seems she too remembers a time when fans were raving about her music and her dancing, and not because she’d just crossed another boundary in terms of imagery.
“It’s about the dance and it’s about being old school, it’s like keeping it real and just making it about the dance. I’d love to do a video like that,” Britney says.
