14 DAY TRIAL // Candie’s is well-known for coming up with extremely delicate and girlie items, but it seems the company has reached a new high in terms of catering to the female customers with the latest ads starring Britney Spears. The Fall 2009 national campaign is about to be launched and, consequently, photos that will be part of it have already leaked on the Internet.
That Britney Spears is looking extremely good now, and has been doing so for many months, is no longer something that should make the headlines as news. Come to think of it, it’s only natural that she be in the best shape possible, given that she’s on an international tour, dancing and rehearsing hours in a row for every single night, while also reportedly keeping a close tab on what she eats. With this in mind, it’s no wonder that the latest ads look this beautiful, it is being said.
The predominant shade of the campaign is, of course, pink, a delicious hue that is plastered on anything from the accessories of the white horse to the hay in which Britney rolls and the clothes the singer herself is wearing, as you will surely notice at first sight. Granted, there is a bit too much retouching, as several US magazines have already jumped to point out, in that the some of the photos might look a bit like paintings than actual pics, but overall, Britney looks good. Moreover, given that this is her first major endorsing campaign since the by-now infamous breakdown, all her efforts are commendable.
Speaking of efforts, it emerged yesterday that Spears and her management were forced to add more dates to the Australian leg of her Circus tour, as demand there was so unexpectedly high that tickets for the available dates sold out in just minutes. This is the first time that Britney performs in Australia, which would explain the surprising reaction from fans here.
“Organizers of Britney Spears’ Australian tour have been forced to add a second Perth show to her itinerary after tickets sold out in minutes this morning. […] Due to massive demand across Australia, extra shows have been added in all cities. In Sydney, two shows that went on sale at 9am today sold out, and a third show was announced. A fourth Sydney show has now been added with tickets to go on sale next Thursday. Spears will perform at the Burswood Dome on Friday November 6 and Saturday November 7.” TheWest.com was reporting yesterday.
