After Rihanna and Courtney Love, Britney Spears is the latest celebrity to get very visible ink – in the form of a series of small tattoos leading up to her neck.

The other day, Britney and her longtime manager and boyfriend Jason Trawick went out to run some errands and, at one point, Brit emerged with tattoos on her neck.

The little etchings seem to resemble flowers or little bows, as JustJared notes, and to alternate between blue(ish) and pink.

Nevertheless, chances are the tats are not permanent, which is something the entire blogosphere hopes since they do appear rather childish.

“Britney Spears and her boyfriend, Hollywood agent Jason Trawick, pick up some Play-Doh and Disney toys for her sons at Toys-R-Us on Saturday (October 2) in Woodland Hills, Calif.,” JustJared writes.

“It looks like the pop princess may have gotten some neck tattoos. Do you think they’re permanent??” the e-zine also asks.

“Jason has a few tattoos already, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Brit’s are real. One of them looks like a flower…” the same celebrity publication writes.

Britney too is not a stranger to tattoos, already boasting quite a few including lips on her wrists, dice on the other, a little fairy on her lower back and a pattern on her foot.

In other Britney Spears news, it seems that more and more details on her upcoming album are coming to light, with all signs pointing to her next studio material being a smashing hit.

Just recently, as we also informed you, producer Sean Garrett dished the dirt on the album, confirming for the media that he was back in the studio with the Princess of Pop.

Garrett, for those not in the know, is the same producer who made her “Toy Soldier,” which was included on the “Blackout” album.

“I’m going into the studio with her. I love Britney. I want to help her grow. I want to do stuff that’s going to be able to travel around the world,” the uber-producer said a short while ago.

“I’m glad to see her back. I really would like to get into her mind and find out what loving Britney is all about. It could get a little freaky,” Garrett also said.
