14 DAY TRIAL // Though she’s officially on a break now after the long and exhausting, but very successful, Circus Tour, Britney Spears is also making the time to hit the recording studio. The first details on her upcoming material are now out.
A little over a month ago, word got out that a new studio album from the Princess of Pop was due in a just a few weeks, much to the delight of fans all over the world.
That didn’t turn out to be the case, unfortunately. While details on the release date remain sketchy, producer Sean Garrett is spilling the beans on what fans can expect from the materials.
Apparently, it will be wild, just like Garrett’s previous work with Britney, E! Online has learned, straight from the super producer himself.
For those who are not among Britney’s fans, we should note that Garrett previously worked with her on “Toy Soldier,” which made the cut on “Blackout.”
He both produced the song and lend his vocals for it. Now, he’s teamed up with the star again and he’s hoping to come out with something at least half as good as that.
“I’m going into the studio with her. I love Britney. I want to help her grow. I want to do stuff that’s going to be able to travel around the world,” the uber-producer reveals for E!.
“I’m glad to see her back,” he says of the pop star’s previous album, which was followed by a massively successful tour in many countries.
“I really would like to get into her mind and find out what loving Britney is all about,” he says. “It could get a little freaky,” he adds of what may come of this collaboration he has with Spears.
Another huge producer that is already working on Britney’s upcoming material – which remains a mystery for the time being – is Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins.
It was he who said back in August that the album would be coming out in a matter of weeks, thus sending the hearts of millions of Britney fans in a flutter of excitement.
“Uber producer Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins has just made fans of Britney Spears curious. Darkchild hinted in a Ustream session held over the weekend that the pop star will release a new material in the near future, saying ‘Britney fans are gonna be so happy in few weeks’,” AceShowbiz wrote at the time, as we also informed you.
