14 DAY TRIAL // Britney Spears rumors come a dime a dozen, and she doesn’t even have to do something in particular for them to emerge. The latest comes from The Sun, which claims it has it from very reliable sources that social workers will be launching an investigation to determine whether the star has been physically violent and negligent towards her two children.
Speculation on whether the pop star’s violent temper was taking over her started to make the rounds shortly after her much-mediated breakdowns of a couple of years ago, even though it’s a well-known fact that she got treatment right away for her problems. Paparazzi reported a while back, for instance, that she was violent even towards her longtime manager, now-boyfriend Jason Trawick and that she would often use him as the one person on whom she took out all her frustrations.
Now, sources are saying that she’s just as abusive to her two children as well. “Social workers will quiz her over claims she beat one with a belt and gave both food they were allergic to – making them violently ill. Investigators were approached by the singer’s former bodyguard Fernando Flores – who claims he was forced to quit his job due to Britney’s erratic behavior. It is understood that the 28-year-old star strongly denies the claims and insists she has never mistreated four-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, three. But Flores, 29, has told the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services he feels Britney is too unstable to be left in charge of her sons,” The Sun writes.
The former bodyguard, who also claimed a while ago that working for Spears was the worst nightmare that could have happened to him because of the way she’d hit on him while on the job, insists that the children are not safe when with their mother. Admittedly, he’s been telling investigators that he fears that the way the pop star behaved with and around them could scare them for life – if the damage is not done already. Not only does she make a habit of physically punishing them, but she also shows crass carelessness when it comes to their health, including foods that they’re allergic to.
“Britney doesn’t mean to be a bad mum. But Flores feels she has so many issues she can’t be trusted around her boys. He claims the first really shocking incident was when she came marching into the pool house at her mansion and demanded his belt. He handed it over but then followed her into the main house and claims he witnessed the alleged incident,” an unnamed but reportedly reliable source says for the British tabloid.
