Flicker find shows just how much some folks love their Apple hardware

To move away from MacBook rumors a bit, how about we lose our minds over this gorgeously re-decorated MacBook Pro, owned by a Mac-head in Berlin. The picture was taken by flickr user Rodrigo Galindez, who happened to be sitting in a coffee shop when, all of the sudden, he spotted this superb Mac.

Cult of Mac points out that, “on close inspection,” the material used to pimp out this MacBook Pro seems to be some kind of laminate, probably something used for furniture decorations, or even for floors.

The wood design does match perfectly with the old rainbow Apple logo, as the “wood” sports vertical lines, while the apple's design uses horizontal stripes. Needless to say, the guy himself is in perfect harmony with the hardware. The look on his face, as Rodrigo Galindez took his picture, tells us he's quite at peace with himself, in love with his purple jacket and his uber cool Pro.

“I spotted this guy working next to me in the same coffee shop. Very cool Mac,” says Galindez, the photographer.

Some companies, like Colorware, deal specifically with laptop customizing. Colorware can hook you up with a completely revamped MacBook Air, starting at $500. Sure enough, the service is not the least bit cheap, but Apple's extra thin laptop requires extra care and attention.

The company offers a two-color type design, metallic and solid. Both styles include a high-gloss, scratch resistant finish to protect the product from minor scuffs due to normal usage, but also to keep the coating from getting worn out. Metallic colors have some variation and sparkle given by small flakes within the shade, while the solid colors are pure, with no effect whatsoever.

Be sure to let us know what you think about this Berlin resident and his hefty Pro. You can also share a few design ideas yourselves.
