14 DAY TRIAL // For some weeks now, reports that Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston are dating have been burning a hole in the Internet. Talk of how they’re “rekindling” their 2009 romance hasn’t ceased making the rounds but, as it turns out, there’s no rekindling of anything between them.
It all began shortly after Cooper ended his relationship with Renee Zellwegger, when tabloid reports said that Aniston was actually glad it happened because it would give her the chance to be with him again.
Back in 2009, Jen and Bradley were photographed on a couple of dates together, but they never admitted publicly to being more than friends.
Just the other day, for instance, another report said that Aniston was convinced Bradley was the “man she could fall in love with,” and that she was determined not to rush into things.
PopEater is now saying that, while it’s true that the two have been in contact recently, it’s not for the reasons circulated in the media.
In fact, Bradley and Aniston have never stopped being good friends but they’re only speaking more these days because they want to work together – and are thinking of ways to make that happen.
“Cooper, who split with girlfriend of nearly two years Renee Zellweger last month, was reportedly in touch with Aniston and many thought the pair were trying to rekindle their short-lived romance from 2009. However, sources close to Cooper were quick to put down any romance reports,” PopEater says.
As usual, the media blew things out of proportion again where the two actors are concerned.
“They were looking at projects to work on together. Bradley loves Jennifer as a friend,” says a spy cited by the same e-zine.
Even if he were to consider a relationship with Aniston, Bradley would probably not risk his image for it.
“Bradley knows that by dating Jen, he’s be known as Mr. Jennifer Aniston,” another source explains.
