14 DAY TRIAL // Angelina Jolie is slowly making her way back to the movie scene after a long hiatus, as fans must already know. With reports swirling that she may star in the next Gucci film, it’s clear that her days at home are somewhat over with, which, in turn, is making partner Brad Pitt extremely angry, because she once promised him she would put family first, InTouch reports (story via here).
Family is very important for Brad, and this is why he’s now confused and somewhat disappointed by Jolie’s decision to go back to work, sources close to the couple reveal for the tab. Moreover, Angelina has repeatedly insisted that she would not work as much as she used to when she was not a mother, and she’s breaking all her promises now by seeing her agents and accepting more and more movie offers. Understandably, this is causing Pitt a lot of pain, and he’s seriously considering walking out on her, the tab claims.
“For Brad Pitt, this could very well be the final straw. After promising Brad she would take a break from movie work and be a full-time mom to their six kids, Angelina has gone back on her word yet again. Friends say Brad’s so furious over this betrayal that he’s considering ending their troubled relationship once and for all.” InTouch writes. Admittedly, Jolie is using her work as a means of forgetting about her problems at home, because she’s away most of the time and, most importantly, she gets to pretend she’s someone else.
“She says she wants to put her family first – but when a good role comes along, she forgets all that. Brad thinks she’s being selfish. Pretending to be someone else for 14 hours a day makes her problems feel less real. Instead of putting in [the effort to make their relationship work], Angelina has chosen to escape – and Brad’s now teetering even closer to splitting up with Angelina for good.” a so-called “pal” dishes for the publication.
Of course, the entire world (and not only Brangelina fans) must know by now that rumors of this type surface at given intervals with almost clock-like regularity. Until now, nothing has come of them for the obvious reason that neither Brad nor Angelina would be so uninspired as to surround themselves with this kind of “friends.”
