When she spoke to Oprah in her first interview since Whitney Houston’s death, Bobbi Kristina (Krissi) hinted she wanted a career in showbiz. It would seem she’s already taken a first step into that direction.

Though she would not go into the specifics of what she’d like to do, Krissi did say her future career might involve both music and acting.

She’s just gotten her big break to work on the latter, Radar Online reports.

According to the celebrity e-zine, which cites inside but unnamed sources, Krissi just landed her first role in a Tyler Perry sitcom.

One can only assume she’d be going up from that, either into chunkier roles or even feature films.

“Following the worst months of her life after her mother’s tragic death, Bobbi Kristina finally has something to smile about after reportedly landing a part in Tyler Perry’s sit-com, For Better Or Worse,” Radar reports.

As per the magazine, Bobbi Kristina is now the protégée of the director, who will directly oversee her next steps in showbiz.

“Whitney Houston’s only child has been taken under the wing of Perry, who spoke at the late singer’s funeral last month, and given the 19-year-old a reoccurring role in the TBS show, which has been picked up for a second season,” says the aforementioned publication.

“Bobbi Kristina will reportedly play the daughter of one of the stylists who works in the salon run by Angela Williams, played by Tasha Smith,” Radar adds.

This might be just the first step for the 19-year-old.

As we also noted a while back, word online has it that her father, Whitney’s ex-husband Bobby Brown is shopping a biopic around – and he wants Krissi to play her mother.

Apparently, Brown had the idea for the film long before Whitney’s tragic death but, back then, no one was interested in it. Sadly, not the same is applicable today.
