Blizzard has just revealed that it will be offering limited streaming coverage of this weekend's BlizzCon event, besides the premium streaming service it is offering in HD.

This weekend will be extremely important for all Blizzard fans, as the company is holding its annual BlizzCon event, where it will talk about all things related to StarCraft, Diablo, Warcraft and World of Warcraft.

As you can imagine, all of the tickets have been sold out in just a few minutes when they were put on sale, so the company decided to also offer live Internet streaming of the event to those that didn't get to buy the tickets.

The BlizzCon virtual ticket will cost Blizzard fans 40 U.S. Dollars, and will include multiple high definition streams of the event, as well bonus items for StarCraft II and a murloc pet for World of Warcraft called "Deathy".

Those that don't want to pay that much are in luck though, as Blizzard has just revealed that it will still be offering limited free streaming from BlizzCon.

These streams will cover the opening ceremony and certain tournaments for StarCraft II, but expect the speeds to be pretty slow considering the huge number of other Blizzard fans that want to watch the event.

"Limited streaming coverage of the BlizzCon opening ceremony and certain BlizzCon tournaments will be available via the Internet for free," revealed the company.

Given the fact that the newest expansion for World of Warcraft, Cataclysm, will be released on December 7, BlizzCon will certain focus on it.

According to other rumors, the upcoming Diablo III role playing game might also see some big news be revealed, as well as a few brief details concerning the next chapter in the StarCraft II saga, Heart of the Swarm.

Expect more details to be revealed as we approach BlizzCon's start this Friday, October 22, at 11:00am PST/2:00pm EST.
