To Lively’s credit, not all of them were for herself, even though she might have been justified to give herself such an amazing present thanks to the lower price tag.
As X17 Online reports, Lively was at a Louboutin event just recently, and decided to use the wonderful occasion to catch up on her Christmas shopping.
“The Gossip Girl star was spotted buying 40 pairs of shoes at the invite-only Christian Louboutin sample sale in New York City last week, and even though the shoes were cheaper than usual, sources estimate she spend upwards of $9,000!” the paparazzi agency / celebrity gossip website writes.
Asked about her shopping spree, the actress said she couldn’t be blamed for spending this kind of cash on shoes because it wasn’t all for her vanity.
“I have sisters, so I’m getting gifts for them and for friends,” she said. “Of course, I got quite a few for myself, too,” the stunner added.
Even if $9,000 may seem like a lot to spend on shoes, Lively’s spree is a trifle if compared to one of Kim Kardashian’s: just recently, the reality star dropped an estimated $100,000 on handbags in a single trip.
What’s even more, as we also informed you at the time, it’s not like she got to leave the store with a truckload of bags and purses. Since she went to the prestigious Hermes store in Paris, she only bought seven pieces.
Reports in the media at the time suggested Kim and her mother Kris Jenner bought six Hermes bags priced at $10,000 each, while Kim gave herself a nice present: a bag made of rare crocodile skin priced at over $30,000.
