Amosu, well-known for offering various mobile phones in limited luxury editions, recently unveiled its latest creation, Blackberry Pearl Diamond Edition, offering Blackberry's rich fans the chance to show everyone that they are, well, rich.

Only 20 Diamond Blackberry handsets will be made and offered with 1 year manufacturing warranty. They will be handcrafted with care, encrusted with 900 diamonds and dressed in 18K gold on sides and bottom. Customers can choose the phone's color between black, white, blue or pink. Moreover, the gold's color can vary from yellow to white or platinum, while the diamonds can be white, pink, brown or black, meaning you can make a luxury handset like no other out there.

A normal Blackberry Pearl weighs 91 grams and measures 107 x 55 x 14, so the Diamond Edition will be a bit bigger and heavier, but that will surely not be a problem for luxury lovers. We don't know if Amosu chose the Pearl 8110 or the Pearl 8120 for the Diamond Edition, but if it's the 8110, customers will have built-in GPS, while with the 8120 model they'll get Wi-Fi. Other than that, both handsets have about the same specs, including quad-band GSM connectivity, full QWERTY keyboard, 240 x 260 pixels display, 2 Megapixel camera with flash and video, Media player, Document viewer, microSD card support and so on.

What's interesting is that the diamonds from the exclusive Blackberry are recyclable, so when you're bored of the phone you can remove them and dress another device.

Blackberry Pearl Diamond Edition comes for the price of 45,000 British pounds (about $88,000 or 66,000 Euro) and those who feel they must have it should check the Amosu website at this address to order one. I wish you a merry spending. Or is it wasting a more suitable term?
