Let the bling-bling ring, ring

Nokia N95 was a pricey smartphone even in its original form, before becoming a high tech bling-bling. As if that was not enough and the thrills of having misplaced it have not been strong enough until now, a special edition sticks 18 carat gold and 325 diamonds to the handset to cause real panic in such situations.

The fact that this is the 8GB Nokia N95 and not the first version of this phone is less important. In fact, when it comes to luxury phones, specifications are less important. The phone's value is best measured in the amount of precious metals and handcraft that the producer has put into covering it in shiny diamonds.

When Nokia said this would be a limited edition, they surely meant it. Only 10 such handsets will be produced. That makes them really special and also increases its price. The number of people that would be willing to pay a huge sum of money for such devices is rather small, which gives high chances to the 10 handsets produced to find some rich owners.

Moreover, each will be uniquely different either by color of diamonds or a choice of solid classic gold or white gold. The user can even choose to customize it with his/her name or initials.

The 8 GB Nokia N95 will be adorned with 18 carat solid white gold. It will also have 325 diamonds, with a total diamond weight of 3.30 carats, Grade VS, Color E-F, for those who are interested in details on their value. The limited edition will be made by Amosu Luxury Phones, which has also pumped luxury into Motorola KRZR and Motorola V3i.

The phone will come at the huge price of 12,000 pounds (about USD 25,000). Quite a huge cost for a mobile phone, but a good one for a piece of jewelry. Had it looked less like a cheap bling-bling...
