Among the new BlackBerry smartphones that leading handset vendor Research In Motion is expected to bring to the market in the not too far future, we can count the BlackBerry Torch II 9810, which was supposedly confirmed in a document found on the company's website. We're referring here to a UAProf document that describes a BlackBerry 9810 smartphone, which should be launched on shelves with the company's BlackBerry OS 6.1 on board, and with the new browser RIM developed for it.

The said document confirms that the upcoming BlackBerry 9810, most probably the second Torch, would be released with a VGA (480 x 640 pixels resolution) screen.

Moreover, it mentions 3G connectivity options, along with WiFi and 802.11 b, g, n capabilities, but most of the other specs and capabilities of the device remain unknown at the moment.

According to a recent article on BerryReview, some of the leaked info on BlackBerry Torch II suggested that it should arrive on the market with 3.2-inch VGA 640 x 480 capacitive display, in line with the said document.

The handset might be launched with a 1.2GHz application processor on board (the same as other rumored BlackBerry devices), as well as with Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band HSPA 14.4Mbps functionality.

Other specs of the phone would include 8GB of built-in memory, 512MB of RAM, microSD memory card slot for additional storage space, and GPS and NFC connectivity.

Moreover, the smartphone would pack a 5-megapixel photo snapper with flash, along with Magnetometer, Accelerometer and Proximity sensor, and a 1300 mAh battery.

For what it's worth, it seems that the handset is shaping up as a pretty impressive phone, though that won't be verified until RIM makes it official.

With a wide range of new BlackBerry smartphones expected to arrive on shelves in the near future, RIM might be set to revive its offering with high-end, appealing hardware, and the BlackBerry Torch II 9810 would be one of the handsets included in the next-gen BlackBerry family, that's for sure.
