Users can admire it on 360 degrees

BlackBerry Storm 2, the second mobile phone the Canadian handset maker Research In Motion is set to deliver to the market with a touchscreen display on it, has finally made an appearance on Verizon Wireless' website. Although the smartphone has already been spotted on BlackBerry's official site and has also been announced to come to Vodafone in Europe, Big Red has been mum about the phone until now, and various rumors about a possible delay have also emerged.

However, it seems that the carrier might indeed have the phone available for purchase within the following days, or even tomorrow, October 21, as previously rumored at a certain point, as the second Storm device can now be admired on Verizon's website from all angles with a 360 degree view option. No other details on the device are available at the moment (except for its dimensions), nor any info on its pricing with Big Red, yet Storm 2's presence there shows clearly that it will soon become available for purchase in the US.

Interestingly enough, while the sequel made an appearance on BlackBerry's official website under the name of BlackBerry Storm2, it can be seen on Verizon's as Storm 2, something that reminds us of a similar problem with HTC Touch Pro2 and its naming on Vodafone's website. Even so, this should be the one and only Storm 2 9550 that many enthusiasts have been waiting for for quite some time now, hoping that their user experience will be greatly leveraged through the presence of better touch capabilities and of Wi-Fi connectivity with the new phone.

Head to Verizon's website to take a look at Storm 2, and be prepared to see the carrier having a rather busy November month, as it is getting ready to launch not only the new BlackBerry touchscreen handset, but also its first Android-based device, the Motorola Droid, along with another Android phone, from HTC this time, if we were to believe some of the latest rumors.
